Congratulations Bianca and Steven on tying the knot!  Your wedding venue, The Crystal Palace Ballroom in Casselberry, Florida  was just fantastic and so much fun. The weather was perfect, an easy transition  for those that were traveling from the Caribbean.  It was a very intimate wedding and obvious that there was lots of love in the room.  It has been a long time since I have seen so many people dancing and really enjoying  themselves. The park in Orlando had a great ambiance and allowed me to captured some terrific shots.  I had a delightful time and appreciate you choosing us to capture your special day. You both were such a joy to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites.  All the best, LL

On one the the most picturesque beaches on the US Virgin Islands, Kendra and Joe stood before their family and friends and exchanged their vows of love. Cinnamon bay is located on the east end of St. John. With its expansive shore line of white sand and its warm tropical Caribbean waters, Cinnamon Bay is a favorite for many and offers an idyllic backdrop of raw beauty. Almost everyday in the Virgin Islands is a perfectly wonderful day. Bright sunny days with gentle tropical winds are just a couple of the pearls that we appreciate on a daily basis.  However, I must confess I have been known to take the beauty of the islands for granted and I am always reminded each and every time I photograph a beach wedding, how lucky I am to be in such a wonderful place.

Kendra and Joe’s wedding was such a reminder of all beautiful things. Seeing the tenderness of their actions, hearing their beautiful words and feeling the love that was given from their family and friends was a real life reality check on whats makes the everyday so very special. The tender meaningful gesture of her father giving her away to Joe was heartfelt and the beautiful honeyed words from Kati, were so sweet and meaningful that I have to say that this was one of my favorite weddings. Take care Kendra and Joe, all the best.LL

The Westin Resort is my favorite property for wedding photography on St. John. If offers a small beach, beautiful landscapes and it’s really close to town. The beauty of wedding photography at the Westin Resort is having he ceremony before sunset. This is because the sun actually sets behind the hill and it’s not visible at the horizon. But, it still colors the sky with wonderful hues of red, oranges and yellows. Usually, when the sun falls behind the hill it makes everything glow in a wonderful light that looks magical. Normally, I would say that this is the case but, Michelle and Michael are different. They both seem to radiate. All during the pre-shoot, ceremony and afterwards they just glowed from within. It was a fun as well as special to be apart of something so very beautiful. LL

Marriott Frenchman’s reef is a gorgeous Caribbean resort located on the south end of St. Thomas. It has a beautiful view of downtown Charlotte Amalie harbor and on a clear day you can see the hills of St. Croix and white houses on Culebra, which is one of the islands of Puerto Rico. It was here at Frenchman’s Reef , on a hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea, Rebecca and John held hands and exchanged their commitments of love. It was a very emotional and beautiful simple ceremony. Friends and family had their eyes filled with tears and yet smiles on their faces. Simply beautiful and touching. Thank you rebecca and John for allowing us to be apart of your very intimate day and all the very best. LL

It’s easy to see why so many people choose the Caribbean as their destination wedding location. The tourquoise waters and the beautiful secluded beaches are what dreams are made of. Personally, I can’t think of a more beautiful back drop to exchange promises of love. It’s for that very reason that I am a Virgin islands wedding and portrait photographer. Other places may be beautiful but, it seems that they are dependent on man made materials like luxury resorts or exquisite venues but, here at the beach it’s just the water, sky and trees…simple. Like a beautiful diamond in a simple setting, nothing to mask the essence of the real meaning and promise.

Lindquist Beach is kinda like that. Simple and beautiful. A few trees, white sand and clear turquoise water. It’s also breathtaking and tranquil. It’s rhythmic flow and crash of the small waves connect with the beat of your heart, joining you with the beach. Once your there, you are forever connected. This is also the case with Shelly and Rahul. Together with friends and family they shared and exchanged their vows of Love. Holding hands and looking into the others eyes they shared with the world, their commitment.  Their Love radiated and was felt by all that was there, tender touches and honeyed kisses were exchanged as they walked Lindquist Beach…their beach.

Magical moments were aplenty, kisses, touching and laughing made capturing wedding images easy and effortless. Couples like these allow wedding photographers to capture special powerful images that others can feel and have the sense of being there. More importantly, they create images that will be a testament of the couples love and will show future family generations their passion. These gifts are my driving force. I am always grateful for my talents and feel blessed that I am able to capture these special moments for my clients, family and friends. Thank you so very much Shelly and Rahul for allowing us to be apart of your special day and please give my best to your aunt Helene. LL
