Westin Resort, St. John Troop jump up at Carnival 2010

On the 5th of July in Love City, St. John carnival was in full swing. The day was hot and the costumes were small. The streets were jam packed with spectators from all over the world. Nearly every corporation was represented and troops were present from all three islands. Everyone was jumping up and dancing. I am sure everyone had a wonderful time despite the heat. Although, there were a couple of light showers, people maintained their prized locations to watch the carnival go by so that they could cheer on their favorite troops. To me it was magical. It kinda reminded me of carnival in Venice. Only without San Marco Square and a plate of wonderful Tiramisu. YUM! There were so very many things and people to photograph. For me the fast pace and the action are a rush…I like it. No. I LOVE  IT. I can’t imagine anything else on earth that I would rather do. Here are a few for you. I think I will have a piece of Tiramisu.
